Update! Show at The Foyer with Matt Bednarsky and MaryJustice Lucas

I was very pleased when Matt asked me to do a show with him in Huntsville, so we selected The Foyer. I met Matt a few months ago when we were invited by Cj Watson to sing  at Kimbros Cafe in Historic Franklin, Tennessee. Wonderful place full of music history. I recommend you add a trip there to your "bucket list"!

Matt was born to a mother with a classical pedigree and professional jazz guitarist father in Shelton, CT. He started violin at age 4, but soon left that behind and picked up a guitar! He then made his way to New York for college. Now, Nashville is his home and I'm sure he will be very successful! Awesome singer and songwriter. So join us and find out what his plans are for his musical journey! I know I'm excited and looking forward to our show.

"Forgiveness and Faith" EP Release Thank You Note

It's weird how much time has passed and how so much has changed since I wrote and recorded these songs...
I've even changed a lot myself.
My life has changed considerably, too.

I am grateful for the ups and downs because they are the inspirations a lot of the time for my music.
And having trials and uphill battles make you appreciate the good times even more.

I want to thank everyone who has supported me.
My family, friends, and people I've met through doing music in general.
I can not express how much it really does mean to me.

Thank you to my late Grandfather, Carl Lucas, and my late Uncle,
Michael Dennis Lucas for always encouraging me and telling me to never give up on something that I love.
I know you two are still with me even though you are in heaven now...

Thank you Grandmother,
Sue Gilbert Baumann, for all your hard work and encouragement as well. You are part of the reason I've come as far as I have.

Thank you Mom for believing in my crazy dreams in the first place and for helping me push forward no matter what.
Last but not least, I really appreciate all you did for me, Matt Morrow. I have admired your music since I first heard you 4 years ago at the Coffee Tree Books & Brew, Huntsville. Thank you for helping me with this album and for the photo shoot that is now the cover. It was so easy 'cause you hear my music a lot like I hear it in my mind and what I want it to sound like in the end. Thank you for bringing it all together and being a part of the journey that this album was/is for me. When I was 15 I still wrote pretty raw and emotional songs but being around you as I continued to grow I saw how you just laid it all out on the line and it inspired me to not hold anything I felt back when it came to writing. So thank you for that, too...

To God be the glory, for He is the reason I live, and breathe, and am blessed with the people in my life and everything else that is good and right.

Sincerely,
MaryJustice
