Happy Birthday to the best son, brother, Uncle, friend , person.. anyone could know.... I am torn straight down the middle... How I miss you so much....but am so happy you are celebrating your birthday with God, C, Evan, and the angles in heaven... Not a day goes by that I don't miss you.. I wrote "Michael's Song" to honor my Uncle Michael. I performed it for the first time at the 18th Annual St. Jude Children's Hospital Benefit on September 13th.
We got through your birthday this year, the first time to celebrate without you. We went to The Original Public House which used to be Finnegan's, one of your favorite hangouts with your friends. It was a bittersweet meal but Mom, Grandmother and I reminisced and talked about all the times we were with you when you made us laugh until our stomachs hurt! That's one of the many things we miss hearing!

| Thanksgiving 2014 |
The day after your birthday was Thanksgiving. First one without you. Grandmother, Mom and I got in the kitchen and cooked together. Cooking together was fun and we talked about you the whole time! We had the traditional foods but not cooked like our usual Thanksgiving meals ... same but different! We know you are no longer here, but you ARE here with us.
