Update!!!

Needless to say.... I had an awesome time in Nashville for the Madd Talent Showcase at Opry Mills Mall. It was so nice to perform on such a wonderful stage with friends I had not seen in a long time: Kayla Nettles, Brandon, Just Hannah-Nash, April Lockhart and Meadow Ryan. I met two very talented young ladies, Dominique Dy and Tegan Thomas. I think we all had a good time and were tired at the end of two days... it was worth it!!!

  

A few weeks ago my friend Matt Morrow joined me for a show at the Tree Of Life Coffee House in Kimberly, Alabama. As things will go sometimes, the TOL had electrical problems a couple of weeks before so Mrs. Baker, the owner did an awesome job of finding a temporary home for her events until she get settled in the new place. She booked the Warrior Community Center! Wonderful place with great sound engineer and system with wonderful lights. I was so pleased and honored that so many family members and cousins I had never met came. 

Some friends of my grandparents came who I had never met but heard of all my life. It was so nice to meet them. It was the night before my 18th birthday and the concert ended up being a birthday party with cake, balloons and gifts. A nice surprise! Thanks to everyone who came out. I love you all. My Uncle Mike was home for a few weeks and got to join us and also to make the trip to Nashville. He is back in Texas now on his new assignment. Miss you already Uncle Mike!  So, take a look at these photos made by Mom's god-sister,  Alice Wilson, Professor of Photography. Alice drove up from Tuscaloosa where she teaches digital photography and has a commercial photography business.  Thanks, Alice!
